If your idea of clotted cream is a vision of a handful of small producers supplying a market limited to the far South Western reaches of England, think again. It is a highly sought-after product which these days can be found on the shelves of Britain's top food retailers and on the menu for first-class air travellers. Traditional it might be, but it is also a dairy product with real sales growth potential - so much so that the family-owned A. E. Rodda and Son creamery at Scorrier near Redruth, Cornwall, employs a staff of about 80 to help produce it.
