The NFU's vision for the dairy industry - challenging the industry at all levels with thoughts and ideas for significant change in the way the supply chain operates - has already drawn attention across a wide spectrum. The report focused particularly on the critical link between milk producers, processors and end customers in an effort to deliver greater market orientation and transparency in the supply chain. In preparing the document, we admitted that as an organisation we did not have the monopoly of wisdom on how to solve the problems of the industry, nor did we expect universal approval for all elements of the paper.
