You need a pretty good reason to be on a windy airfield early on a chilly Saturday morning, but when the 16-Valve Mini Club are rnholding a sprint trackday, that's all the reason you need. The festivities were part of a camping-based weekend event that culminated in a full-on sprint competition on Sunday. This was organised by the RAF Motorsport Association, and the hard-core 16V-club sprinters were also competing in their own championship within this event.
