It's always good to see things from a different perspective. The Mini scene in the UK is a thriving animal with new blood, classic wisdom and fresh ideas, but it is always enlightening to see how it's done in another part of the world.rnI've experienced Minis in Europe, Australia and Japan and the different scenes all benefit from the same enthusiasm as we do, but they always have a different spin on styling and the way that the scene is formed. At the end of 2009 I was lucky enough to experience thernJapanese Mini scene once again. In general, and not meaning to stereotype, I have observed that Japanese Mini owners are very passionate about their cars but seldom get their hands dirty as there is a thriving network of Mini specialists adept at servicing, maintaining and restoring Minis to very high standards.
