As Treasurer, It is my responsibility to ensure NGAUS and its affiliates—the National Guard Memorial in Washington, D.C., the National Guard Educational Foundation (NGEF) and the NGAUS Insurance Trust (NGAUS-IT)—meet their fiduciary obligations to you, our members. In order to effectively accomplish this mission, I interact closely with the associations Committee on Finance, the Special Building Committee and the full-time staff. This team makes sure we have sound internal controls while operating within a balanced budget. I hope this brief financial overview assures you that our association's financial matters continue to have responsible guidance and management.
