Computer graphics is an unusual world somewhere between art, engineering and science, and the talented individuals that work in this field have virtual feet in each of these disciplines. Few, however, make the transition from the virtual world to something more tangible. For Jun Mitani, whose desk is cluttered with very real but seemingly impossible origami pieces, this translation from the virtual to the real has been a driving force for his work since graduating from the University of Tokyo.
