The Vaccine & Gene Therapy Institute of Florida (VGTI Florida) is seeking to recruit outstanding immunologists/virologists to direct programs in basic and translational human immunology. Priority areas of research include immunopathogenesis of influenza or flaviviruses, vaccine vector design and adjuvant development. Priority will be given initially to senior investigators with established research programs, although applicants at all levels of career development are invited to apply. VGTI Florida is one of the internationally acclaimed research institutes invited to locate to Florida as part of a State-sponsored initiative to enhance biomedical research in Florida. Research at VGTI Florida focuses on Global Health initiatives utilizing systems biology to study the human innate and adaptive immune response to infectious diseases and cancer.
