摘要

Although Nature is the mother journal of Nature Publishing Group, there are now many journals in the Nature family. The Nature research journals are published monthly on wide range of topics in the life sciences, physical and chemical sciences, disseminating outstanding research articles with exceptional significance in those fields. The Nature Asia-Pacific Publishing Index is calculated based on corrected counts from papers published by institutions and countries/territories in all thesernjournals. The top five Asia-Pacific institutions publishing in Nature and each of the 15 other Nature research titles in 2009 are expanded on these pages. The lists make for interesting reading, serving as an indication of regional strengths in certain research fields, adding context to the overall information provided by the broader brush of the Nature Asia-Pacific Publishing Index.
