A virtualized, open systems-based infrastructure built on HP blade servers gives Continental.com the flexibility to handle peaks in customer demand. When world-class airline Continental needed to upgrade its legacy Internet booking system, the stakes were high. So it looked for a company that could meet its stringent requirements — and found Hewlett-Packard. Working with HP, Continental has virtuaiized the infrastructure for its busy online sales and booking business, allowing it to quickly respond to changing business needs.
