BSkyB may launch high-definition television before the end of 2005, around six months earlier than expected. The satellite-television compa-ny maintains that its plan is to launch commercial HDTV serv-ices in the second half of 2006, to coincide with the start of the next Premier League football season. However, a key party involved in such a launch this week suggested a different timetable.
