In the food industries, great importance is placed on the appeal of freshness to consumers, and it is thus necessary to draw up a highly accurate supply and demand program for providing such appeal. The author has provided supply planning sys- tems each configured with a genetic algorithm as its core. This paper outlines requi- sites for the systems, their functions and the methodology for developing the systems.
