A system was developed that rapidly electrolyzes a block steel sample, continuously introduces the resultant electrolyte into the apparatus of radio- frequency inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy (ICP- AES), and quantitatively determines the trace elements in the sample. The Analytical time per sample is about 60 s, and the analytical accuracy is Approximately the same as that of the conventional manual ICP-AES Method.
