The formation of ozone (O3) occurs in the lower stratosphere, in the layer above the troposphere, so does a large concentration of energy, which interferes in the temperature profile in practically all the stratosphere. From the 80's very low values of stratospheric ozone on the Antarctic Continent, especially in the months of September and October. This reduction was denominated the "Antarctic ozone hole", which was directly linked to chlorine-fluorocarbons (CFCs), which break down ozone bonds. Thus, this work aims to study the presence of this anomaly in the concentration of stratospheric ozone, when the "hole" extends to South America (SA) and has a "comma" format, as well as its implication in the conditions troposphere. We used 38 years of data between August and November, where we identified 122 low impact events in southern South America, and these events presented a "comma" format about AS. The temperature at 100 hPa (still within the troposphere) had a decrease during the "comma" events, like the zonal wind fields at 100 hPa. To observe the influence of wind in 200 hPa that the Subtropical Jet undergoes a weakening during the events, that reflects in greater amplitudes of Rossby waves. A potential vorticity presents a dipole over the Atlantic in the Rossby wave region, leading to comma events having direct access as stratosphere-troposphere changes, as a tropopause rupture occurs.
