Global economy, particularly in developed countries, is on the path of recovery and positive growth rates as a result of implemented reforms including (among other) measures in fiscal and monetary policy, although the projections are far from optimistic. Unfortunately, at this moment, this cannot be said for Croatia where the Government continues with introducing and implementing measures for ending negative trends in the economy. Nevertheless, it is estimated that after the fall of gross domestic product in 2009 by 6.2%, it should record some growth in 2010, although modest. Slow down of economic activities accompanied by high unemployment and lower standard of living was reflected in lower sales of oil derivatives and gas in the domestic market.%Poslovanje naftno - plinskog gospodarstva u Hrvatskoj tijekom recesijske 2009. godine uz rast investicija i razvoj
