Hot deposits with vast amounts of heat were encountered during exploration for hydrocarbons, penetrating deeper and deeper into the Earth's crust. Utilization is restricted by geographical limitations of its distribution.rnThe hot zone of the Earth's crust is usually found at a depth of 30 000 ft (9 150 m) and is found all over the world. Poorly permeable, most often dry rocks, contain huge amounts of heat thanks to the highest presence of matrix with low porosity coefficient.
