摘要

Synthesis and optical properties of novel TeO_2-GeO_2-Li_2O glasses possessing non-linear optical properties are reported. Differential thermal analysis, X-ray diffraction, Infrared and UV/VIS spectroscopy were complementarily applied to study the structural, thermal and optical properties of this ternary system. The value of the refractive index of the glasses is about 2.10. Second harmonic and third harmonic generation is observed after thermo-electrical poling.
