摘要

A fast and simple method of preparation, based on the combustion synthesis, is described for the synthesis of borate based PL phosphors which can be used for commercial lamp applications. Phosphors with various structures, incorporating different activators could be successfully prepared. PL intensities of (Gd_(0.6)Ce_(0.2)Tb_(0.2))MgB_5O_(10), SrB_4O_7: Eu~(2+) and La_(0.88)Gd_(0.1)Bi_(0.02)B_3O_6 were found to be comparable with those of the corresponding commercial phosphors.
