Innovia Group chief executive David Beeby has announced his retirement after 10 years at the helm of the films producer. Beeby was instrumental in the original buyout of the business from UCB and creation of Innovia in 2004. Mark Robertshaw will be joining the group this month when he assumes the vacated role. Robertshaw has worked for eight years as chief executive of Morgan Advanced Materials. Malcolm Fallen, chairman of Innovia, said the group will lose a "first class chief executive" who has been instrumental in building the business.
