Mettler Toledo Safeline's new Profile Advantage metal detector, which launched last month [December], uses a sophisticated inspection algorithm to "all but remove product effect". The company says this enables sensitivity levels previously only seen in dry product inspection to be achieved on products with high moisture or salt levels in metallised film packaging.
