I've been in the industry as long as I've been with Kern, which is now a decade. Since I've been leading the packaging operation here, I' ve managed to build an extremely experienced team. In total we can probably notch up around 100 years' experience between us. The key challenge for 2012 is to be alert to the mar- ket pressures facing our customers. We need to be more responsive than ever, by understanding their businesses and being able to provide really smart thinking and great innovative solutions to them. Even more will need to be tailor-made in 2012, and to do that successfully we will need to provide the broadest, most complete range of equipment from the world's best manufacturers.
