Start-up business Re Pet is based in Houghton-le-Spring, Tyne and Wear. The company operates in the plastic packaging sector and, last month, invested in a new extrusion machine as well as ancillary equipment, writes Philip Chadwick. Managing director John Forrest opted for an extruder from Sunwell Global and Re Pet is only the second company in the UK to install such a machine. One of the reasons behind the purchase, Forrest says, was its versatility, which could help Re Pet in the future.
