摘要

The Law for Promotion of Sorted Collection and Recycling of Containers and Packaging (sim- ply called the Law for Recycling of Containers and Packaging hereinafter) will come into full force in April 2000, whereby containers and packaging made of paper and plastic materials are newly in- cluded as targets for recycling, and small and midsize businesses are also obligated to fulfill the re- quirements for recycling. Detail rules and regulations required for the full enforcement of the Law are under intensive discussion based on the recommendations proposed by the Subcommittee for Recycling of Containers and Packaging in the Industrial Structure Council. This paper is intended to provide a brief description of discussion at the meeting of the Subcommittee.
