I am involved in an attempt to establish international safety standards and regula- tions regarding plastic materials for food packages through dail activities in the in- dustry. Then, as for my concern about the attempt, I would like to provide an explana- tion abour outline of plastic materials for food packages, especially focusing on the output in U.S. and Japan.
