PennEnvironmental and Sierra Club took issue on Feb. 4 with GenOn Northeast Management Co.'s argument that there is "no evidence of record that boron or selenium concentrations in the Conemaugh River exceed water quality standards, or have had any impact on human health or the environment." The case is in federal court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
