Medical devices made from natural rubber H. Brasiliensis latex like gloves, catheter, condom, Breathing bags etc. Contains allergenic proteins Causing allergic reaction to the users. One method That can be applied to reduce the latex protein Allergenc content is by adding protease which able to Hydrolyze proteins. The aim of this research was to Obtain an optimum condition for the protease Production, including incubation time, N-source, Immobilization, and the effect of pH, heating Temperature, and divalent cations on the protease Activity and enzyme purification.
