This article proposes a new approach to the loss separation issue. The conventional loss separation into three components is abandoned. The dependence of the dynamic component of loss density versus frequency is assumed to be a power law. The model is verified for selected samples of nonoriented and grain-oriented steel.View full textDownload full textKeywordsloss separation, loss density, eddy currents, ferromagnetic materials, power lawsRelated var addthis_config = { ui_cobrand: "Taylor & Francis Online", services_compact: "citeulike, netvibes, twitter, technorati, delicious, linkedin, facebook, stumbleupon, digg, google, more", pubid: "ra-4dff56cd6bb1830b" }; Add to shortlist Link Permalink http://dx.doi.org/10.1080/09500839.2010.508442
