Enbridge Gas New Brunswick is using directional drilling to expand its gas distribution pipe line system throughout the province of New Brunswick, Canada. Recent notables among these drills have been the Saint John River crossing, in Fredericton, which involved drilling more than 2,400 ft of six-inch steel pipe under the river; and a 568-ft drill of 4 and 6-in. polyethylene (PE) pipe, under Wheeler Boulevard in Moncton.
