This methodology improves SCC risk management policy, as well as management of internal maintenance costs, by distributing them more efficiently.It should be noted, however, that the whole of this study remains a comparative study between lines. It does not take into account any correction coefficient related to defects likely to be present in the pipe (which may reduce the mechanical strength), or other specific stress coefficients.
