It was business as usual one Wednesday for a metals manufacturer until suddenly it wasn't. A gas line failure stopped production and work crews fulfilling piles of orders from demanding customers were now standing still. But with one call to CenterPoint Energy's Mobile Energy Solutions (MES) team, a contract was drawn up in less than a day and production was safely brought up with Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) gas feed in under 36 hours. Just-in-case back-up supplies of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) tube trailers were also delivered, serving as both redundant supply and peace of mind for the plant manager.
