Three new generation development systems are on location in the Gulf of Mexico to produce deepwater reserves.rnThe BW Pioneer, a floating, production, storage, and offloading (FPSO) vessel has arrived to develop the Cascade and Chinook fields in Walker Ridge for Petrobras. This will be the first FPSO in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico and it will be moored in a water depth of around 2,600 meters - the deepest water ever for an FPSO.
