The city of Opelousas, Louisiana, which leases its distributionnsystem to Cleco and is part of its service territory, said Tuesday itnmay not renew its lease. Instead, it is considering forming anmunicipal utility or switching to the service area of EntergynLouisiana or Southwest Louisiana Electric, a nearby cooperative.
