The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission on Thursday approved an indefinite extension of fixed-cost recovery policies for pricing transmission service between the Midwest Independent Transmission System Operator and the PJM Interconnection. In announcing the decision Friday, the agency also rejected a complaint by American Electric Power that challenged the policies. With that federal approval, the policy began governing cross-border transmission Friday, after more than two years of interim pricing policy.
