Russian gas giant Gazprom expects to decide on the time frame for the development of the giant Shtokman gas field in the Barents Sea in the first half of 2010, when a final investment decision is to be taken, a company spokesman said November 20.rnThe revised timing of the FID is somewhat out of step with France's Total - which along with Norway's Statoil is one of the two foreign partners in the project - and Shtokman Development, the project operator. There are also diverging views on when the project will come on stream.
