US West day-ahead power prices rebounded Friday with trading for thernstart of next week and a return of demand. Forward power prices werernflat to lower heading in to the weekend.rnIn the day-ahead markets, Mid-Columbia on-peak climbed over $3rnin the low-to-mid $20s/MWh for Monday delivery. Mid-C off-peakrnjumped $5 to the low $20s/MWh for all-day Sunday-and-Mondayrndelivery. Palo Verde on-peak was boosted around $3.75 in the mid-rn$20s/MWh and off-peak rose over $4 to the low $20s/MWh. SP15rnon-peak gained nearly $3 to the low $30s/MWh, while off-peak wasrnnearly unchanged in the mid-$20s/MWh.
