In the frame of the air quality keeping programme of the transborder region of Strasbourg (Fr)-Kehl-Offenburg (Germ.), an atmospheric emission inventory of the major pollutants (SO_2, NOx, VOC, CO, HCl and dust) has been realised, with a spatial resolution of 1 km~2 on an area of 610 km~2. This area is a very sensitive region on the point of view of the atmospheric pollution. This is due to peculiar geographical situation (in the middle of the upper Rhine valley) which often lead to smog episodes under anticyclonic weather conditions. This inventory, in relation with immissions measurements will allow first, to settle the diagnostic of the air quality of this high urbanized area, and secondly will be able to be used to perform and to improve different mesoscale models to simulate the tropospheric physical-chemistry, according to both clima-tological and physical-chemical parameters for specific synoptic weather conditions. This purpose of this communication is to describe the different steps of the settlement of this common french-german emission inventory, the used methodologies (including data sources and the emission factors) and to describe the results obtained.%Dans le cadre du programme de maintien de la qualité de l'air de la région transfrontière Strasbourg-Kehl-Offenburg, un inventaire des émissions atmosphériques des polluants majeurs (SO_2, NOx, COV, CO, HCl et poussières) à l'échelle du km~2 a été effectué sur une zone de 610 km~2. Ce cadastre d'émissions, en relation avec des mesures d'immissions doit permettre d'effectuer dans un premier temps le diagnostic au niveau de la qualité de l'air de cette zone fortement urbanisée, et dans un second temps pourra servir à rendre opérationnels différents modèles méso-échelles de simulation de la physico-chimie tropo-sphérique en accord avec les paramètres climatiques et physico-chimiques mesurés pour des situations synoptiques particulières. Cette contribution a pour but de montrer les différentes étapes de l'établissement de ce cadastre des émissions franco-allemand, la méthodologie utilisée ainsi que les différents résultats obtenus.
