Dave Ciocchi joined IWCO Direct, of Chanhassen, Minn., as senior VP of sales and customer solutions. For the past seven years, Ciocchi served as head of sales at RR Donnelley, first with the eastern region sales team, and then the national region for the Direct Marketing Group. He also has held sales leadership roles at Quad, USA Direct, and Moore Business Systems. In addition, IWCO Direct named Reid Holmes as its new executive creative director. Hooksett, N.H.-based Polaris Direct hired Courtney Hoppe as account director for its Strategic Marketing Services (SMS) team. William "Bill" Boarman, who served as Public Printer of the U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO) from December 2010 to January 2012, passed away Aug. 22. He was 75 years old. Calev Systems named former LSC Communication Group President Dave Cardona chief strategy officer. He was instrumental in the acquisition and integration of many companies, both at RR Donnelley and LSC Communications, including Banta, Perry Judds, Publishers Press, HudsonYards, and Creel Printing, among others.
