Our CMI Insights story unveiling the ten-point plan for Apprenticeship Levy reform received warm support from managers. Dan Marshall of defence and aviation services firm Inzpire Ltd wants businesses to step up and support apprenticeships. He writes that businesses must "not only recognise but champion the benefits of apprenticeships, which can take learners all the way to degree level (but with valid work experience)". He adds: "It's a shame businesses have a graduate degree as a minimum entry criteria for posts that do not need it at the start."
