Cleanrooms, zones where air contaminants are highly controlled, are essential in industries such as food production, pharmaceuticals, aerospace and car manufacturing. Uncontrolled contaminants can ruin products and processes. ISO has a series of standards dedicated to clean-rooms that outline how to best manage the risk of contamination. The organization has updated two standards in the series to reflect current technological developments and market requirements.
