The retail environment has all of the ingredients for hazards and accidents. The pace can become hectic, product is always on the move, and different people are constatly entering and leaving. Regular training and engagement in safety from all levels in the company can help to promote employee awareness. Ensuring that employees understand their role in safety, and how accidents and injuries can affect them will help keep safety at the top of their minds.
