In 2006, the Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board (CSB) released a report (No. 2006-H-1) that addresses combustible dust fire and explosion hazards. In the report, CSB presents statistics which indicate that 281 combustible dust incidents were reported in the 25-year period ending in 2005.
