This year's Future Safety Leaders Conference (FSLC), held in early November 2017 in Lombard, IL, was a great success. Each year, ASSE hosts the event to engage student members, one of the organization's fastest-growing constituencies. This year, 147 student members from 44 universities attended.The annual FSLC is the cornerstone of ASSE's efforts to invest in the future of the OSH profession by helping to ensure the success of today's OSH students, who are tomorrow's safety professionals. Because it focuses on the specific needs of students pursuing OSH careers, the conference offers a unique learning experience that allows them to gain real-world skills and learn practical tips from working professionals.
