According to a 2014 study from American Journal of Industrial Medicine that analyzed women who work in the construction industry, many participants reported that protective gear including fall protection harnesses are often too large and require adjustments to fit women PPE is not one-size-fits-all, and many women who require fall protection in the workplace find that the PPF provided is fitted to men's sizes.To remedy this, Autodesk a construction technology company, provided grant funding to Associated Genernl Contractors of America to supply fall protection harnesses sized for women to their members. According to Autodesk the grant will fund the purchase of approximately 300 harnesses.
