The Mondi Group has begun the first test runs on its kraft paper machine at the Steti facility in the Czech Republic. The plant is to commence industrial production before the end of this quarter, a spokesman said. After the company had kept a low profile as regards the paper specifications, Czech machine engineering company Papcel recently reported that the paper machine in question will produce white kraft sack paper, machine-glazed kraft paper, and white kraftliner.
