The weather on 6th May 2013 was remembered by many as one of the most perfect flying days that we had enjoyed for some considerable time. Add to that, the Steve Webb Models team, headed by Dave Carr, had arranged their very first invitational fly-in, hosted by the Halton Model Flying Club. The event was well organised and well attended, granting us all some excellent fun and some seriously good flying. By 10 am the pits were packed and the air was heavy with the smell of bacon butties from the all day BBQ laid on by the club. Following a brief introduction, Ann-Louise, co director/ owner at Steve Webb Models declared the event open.
