As you've no doubt noticed, now and again we feature extraordinary models, glimpsed during our wanderings, but lacking any background or explanation. If we get lucky though, an owner might recognise their model, contact us and fill in the details, which on past form, usually makes for a good read.rnAnd so it has been in the case of the R/C scale-up of Keil Kraft's tiny 'Cadet' freeflight towline glider that we photographed at Old Warden last year. The big Cadet brought in a lot of interest and several correspondents cited the original 30" span kit as a turning point in the progress of their modelling careers, being their first successful built up/tissue covered project (Similarly, my own Cadet, back in about '69 was one of the first airframes I managed to build straight and keep free of warps during covering. It towed up nicely too; sev-rneral 'firsts' in one model is not bad going).
