The aim is to build the company into the force it once was and it is well on the way to achieving that. APC propellers and Williams Bros, famously good accessories are now in stock and proving as popular as ever. Prices had to be increased to a realistic level to reflect production costs, as in the past many items were sold at a loss. This caused a few ripples early on but it has to be said that the prices are now at competitive levels and although you have to build the kits the result is ultimately more satisfying and personal. As the company has consolidated itself, feedback from the modelling public has been excellent. Asked if they were going into the Ready-to-Fly market Dean said: "We have no intentions of entering the toy market. Flair models are builder's kits, from beginner to experienced and if you can't build one, you won't be able to fly it! We also have a responsibility to the public to promote safe and responsible flying." With regard to getting back to basics and the friendly atmosphere of Flair, Dean's father runs the day-to-day operations of the company and his mother is also involved, so there is the definite family business approach but on a very professional level.
