I guess it's my turn to enter the debate on the much talked about subject of the ARTF; do they have a place? Well, for three years I lived in a second storey flat with no spare room or garden for a shed, naturally the other half would have gone ballistic at the slightest smell of glass fibre resin or dope, so the introduction of the ARTF was a godsend for me, also my wife is American and used to bring them over for me from the States. I have been making them for sometime now in all shapes and sizes and I have to say I love them, so that's my fuel for the fire. Having made quite a few ARTF models, opening this box bought no big surprises, it all looked very neat, all the parts seemed to be there but alas no spinner but that's no big deal. One nice surprise though was the one-piece wing that would cut down on assembly time. It seemed to be covered well and the parts looked to be of good quality with a nice glass cowling. The model requires six mini servos and five 500 mm servo extension leads. These were supplied to me by my local model shop. I installed a J'en 47 which has more than enough power for this model.
