The Bars radar is an airborne, multimode, pulse-Doppler phased-array fire control radar. It is operated by Algeria, India, and Malaysia on Sukhoi Su-30MK aircraft. Other militaries are prospective customers of the Su-30MK and since it equips the aircraft, are also potential customers of the Bars radar. Tikhomirov NIIP hopes India places a SU-30MKI follow-on order.
