We are currently well into the summer months so exotic DX from across the Atlantic is now scarce. Regular beacon listeners will have noticed the sharp downturn in reception conditions during late February and early March and normally conditions at that time of the year do deteriorate considerably. This year's drop in propagation was, however, more noticeable than in recent years and this could be due to an increase of sunspotrnactivity as we climb the slope of the current solar cycle that has just started. Maybe this is a sign that we will get some excellent DX in the coming months.
