Now that summer is here, Robert Connolly looks at how unprepared boat owners and mountain climbers cause extra work for the coastguard, lifeboats and rescue helicopters and he gives lots of frequencies for you to monitor when there are incidents.rnThe warm sunny weekends of early summer usually bring out lots of pleasure craft and jet skis. While their owners just want to go out and enjoy themselves, sometimes things go wrong and many incidents that cause extra work for the coastguard, lifeboats and rescue helicopters could be prevented if the owners were to take some sensible precautions.
